Five local Kappa Kappa members Linda Placencio Sharon Littleton Vangi Wellborn Almeda Oberg and Marie Thompson attended the New Mexico state convention in Alamogordo on April 2. The event drew 87 delegates as Linda Placencio reported on the year's activities and the Silver City conclave distributed ceramic flower pots as luncheon favors amid officer selections for the coming year.
