A one day workshop titled Nursing Topics 17 Update will be held on Saturday in Room 108 of the Archer Physics Building at Lamar University. Presented by the Licensed Vocational Nursing Association Division 31 with Lamar’s vocational nursing program and continuing education office the event runs 8 45 am to 4 pm. Five CEU credits awarded. Featured speakers include Melba Ownby Port Arthur president of Division 31 Dr Edna Neuman Lamar College of Health Services dean Richard Neuman continuing education staff member Dr Ysleta Kudaty university counseling center director and Judy Levine from the Department of Public Welfare. Early applications are being taken in the continuing education office in the Wimberly Student Affairs Building.
