Gilley Children Recovering From Severe Burns
Floyd Dale Gilley 10 and sister Bobby Jean 8 of Indian Hills Kountze were burned when a paint can exploded while playing on September 1. Floyd underwent skin grafts to hands arms and legs and was in isolation with fever. Bobby Jean reported recovering well and near release at Shriner Burn Institute in Galveston after initial care at Kountze Memorial Hospital and St Elizabeth's Beaumont.
