Oil operators report wildcat drilling in the county with multiple prospects. F W Holbrook and others completed No 2 Kirby Lumber Co wildcat near Village Mills yielding 153 barrels of 43.9 gravity oil from 6160 to 6163 feet, with a 330 to 1 gas oil ratio and 990 psi tubing pressure. Testing continued at deeper intervals with gas and distillate flow. The all electric Gold Medallion house of Mr and Mrs Glen Stutts in Silsbee will be open Sunday afternoon from 1 30 to 5 o clock. Builder Bill Seaman said the home is off Spurger Highway about a mile and a half north of town with clear signs guiding visitors. Features include three bedrooms brick veneer year round air conditioning two ceramic tile baths with dressing table and large mirror glass patio doors a large double car port and a combined living room kitchen dining room with mahogany paneling.
