Bills Win Third Game
The Silsbee Lumberton Buffalo Bills defeated the Warren Warriors 14 to 0 to run to 3 1. Randy Royse and Steve Lewis led rushes and Cary Willinghan scored the first TD from four yards with Lewis adding the extra point. Wade Richardson finished the scoring with a four yard run. The Bills face their next game Saturday morning. Hardin County Home Demonstration Council met Oct 20 at the Hardin County Courthouse with nine members. Paula Fortenberry presided and plans for the annual Christmas party on Dec 9 were made. Various clubs will provide decor, food, and setup and a gift drive for a nursing home was arranged.

Indoor Plant Clinic at County Courthouse
A landscape horticulture program on indoor plants will be held Monday morning November 1 at 9 30 in the west wing of the County Courthouse. Singers To Meet At County Courthouse
Hardin County Fifth Sunday Singing Convention will be held at the West Wing of Hardin County Courthouse. Singing starts 7 30 p m Saturday and 10 a m Sunday with a short devotion and a basket lunch at noon. Dale Phelps serves as president.
