They discussed a bonfire hamburger supper and plan a reception for Betsy Tony at Susbee State Bank. Tony from Girls Town, senior drill team member, will stay with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thompson during homecoming and take part in the parade. Harvill presented a program on Child Rearing.

Texas Parks and Wildlife reports rising deer numbers in parts of South Central Hardin County with inadequate food supply. Permits to harvest surplus deer will be issued within a defined boundary to rebalance herd with forage. Rites Held For J. D. Wooley 63 In Bridge City
Funeral services for J. D. Wooley 63 of Bridge City were held Monday at Livingston Funeral Home. Burial followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park. He died Saturday at Park Place Hospital after living in Bridge City 15 years. Survived by sister Beatrice Hatch of Silsbee.
