Edith Holmes dies in Beaumont at 63
Mrs Edith Holmes died after a long illness at the Schlesinger Home in Beaumont on Monday November 12. She was 63. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Fellowship Cemetery with Rev. Will Holmes and Rev. Brack Waddell officiating. Edwards Funeral Home of Woodville in charge. Survivors include husband Charley Holmes, a son James Holmes, two grandsons, a granddaughter, three brothers Vernon Markentell of Saratoga and Lesley and Murphey Markentell of Houston, a sister Hazel Daniels of Kountze, and sister in law Mrs Guy White sides of Village Mills. Sympathies extended.
