Braeant W Bowles lost the second round of efforts to set aside a Hardin County district court life sentence in Austin. The Court of Criminal Appeals refused to review its 2 1 decision upholding the sentence after Bowles was convicted last year for the slaying of his brother in law James Harvey of Loeb.
