The Wa-hawka Camp Fire Girls met May 7 at Mrs. Hubert Black’s home. Patricia Hooks served as hostess. They planned the year-end ceremonial, finished science exhibits, played games, and sang songs. Refreshments included pizza and Kool-Aid. Rhonda Black adjourned the meeting. Darlene Dehart, reporter.
The Memorial Day Homecoming at Holland Cemetery will be held on May 25. The cemetery lies in the Holland Settlement eight miles north of Kountze and a basket lunch will be served at noon.
