Miss Sharon Kathleen Murphey and Steve Alan Diden announce plans to exchange marriage vows May 24 at 7 30 p m at the local First United Methodist Church. Rev R Eugene Jonte will perform the ceremony. The bride elect is daughter of Mrs A G Murphey and the late Mr Murphey. The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs David Diden of Portland. Both are Silsbee High School graduates.

Silsbee School presents a weekly menu. Monday offers meat loaf with tomato sauce mashed potatoes and gravy green beans banana pudding rolls and milk. Tuesday features hot dogs with chili pinto beans cabbage carrot celery and raisin salad fruit cobbler milk. Wednesday serves steak rice and gravy buttered carrots pineapple upside down cake rolls and milk. Thursday includes tuna salad on lettuce leaf shoestring potatoes baked corn tossed green salad chocolate pudding rolls and milk. Obituary: Shuler Succumbs After Heart Attack in Silsbee
Shuler, native of Missouri and longtime Houston resident, died at Silsbee Doctors Hospital at 5 p m Monday after an apparent heart attack while working. He was a retired carpenter and St John United Methodist Church member. Survived by wife Lucy, son David of Houston, and brothers Ed St Louis Boyce Williamsville and L E Shuler of St Louis.
