Hardin County to Receive 4.58 Million in Tax Refunds and Rebates
The Hardin County area will get 4.576 million from Washington as refunds and 1.216 million in 1974 tax rebates. Additional $50 payments go to Social Security and welfare recipients not affecting future benefits. Nationwide, 37.8 billion in direct payments include 28 billion refunds and 8.1 billion rebates. Payments begin early May and finish by June.

In Texas the risk of having no prenatal care is 3 percent higher for illegitimate babies than for others. The chance of low birth weight is 1 percent higher for illegitimate babies compared with legitimate infants.
