Funeral Services For Mrs Mildred Cheshire Held In Fannett
Funeral services for Mildred Cheshire 50 of Fannett were held at 2 PM Wednesday in Farmer Funeral Chapel with burial in Frank's Branch Cemetery. She died at 2:25 AM Tuesday in St Elizabeth Hospital Beaumont. A native of Silsbee she had lived in Fannett 15 years. Survivors include husband Robert Earl Cheshire a daughter Linda Lyles Orange four sons Hugh Edgerton Jr James Cheshire Ronald Cheshire and R E Cheshire Jr two sisters Lucille Taylor Beaumont Bo Chance Columbus Texas two brothers Bryant Haynes Horace Haynes Jr both of Beaumont and her mother Mrs Clara Haynes Silsbee.

The Evadale Lions Club sponsors its annual trailride and parade entry in Jasper from May 10 to May 14. Events begin with a Monday 8 p.m. dance at the Neches Club, with Bobby Lott band, and riders depart May 10 at 7 a.m. from the roadside park, three miles north of Evadale. An all night campout is at Tom Edleman Ranch, Mount Union. Duchess selections include Miss Lisa Burnett and Miss Patricia Pickett. Parade dress aims for red shirts and blue jeans. Doyle Hollister is president. Dillon Ferguson is trail boss with aide Hugh Terry.
