County Judge Fletcher Richardson reports that thirty people were arrested in the past week with six fined in county court. Fines included Wilbur C. Smith Jr. for DWI, George T. Silsbee Woman Hospitalized After Wednesday Crash
Two Silsbee residents were shaken up in a head on collision south of Woodville near the Dogwood theater. Mrs. Alice Seagrest and Mrs. J. C. Bonham were taken to Tyler County Memorial hospital then Beaumont for treatment. George Durham and Mrs. Clyde Durham suffered bruises and both cars were badly damaged.

A 30-year-old Silsbee man Ger ald Runney was jailed in Jefferson county on a 1500 bond for theft of an automobile. He waived his examining trial after authorities accuse him of stealing a 1942 Ford from the police parking lot near the station Monday night. he was arrested driving the car and it was returned to Milton C. Snell of the identification bureau at the police station.
