Former Silsbee resident Carol Schnaithman Parnian recently earned a Secretarial Training diploma from La Salle Extension University in Chicago. Now living in Fort Worth she is married to Sepehr Parnian and they reside at 6716 Franwood Terrace with their daughter Stephanie Michelle. Carol attended Lamar University Beaumont majoring in Biology. her husband, Iranian native, earned a Lamar degree. LaSalle Extension University has trained students since 1908 with over two million enrolled in its programs.
Funeral services for John Havard 53 of Victor were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Victor Memorial Funeral Home chapel with burial at Restlawn Memorial Park Rev. Ernest Malone and Rev. John Mott officiating Havard died Monday evening at St. Elizabeth after an illness He was born in Angelina County lived in Vidor 11 years and was a machinist and World War II veteran Survivors include his wife Evelyn Havard of Vidor a daughter Diane Havard of Houston two brothers Sanford of Lufkin Eugene of Zavala and four sisters Carrie Ellis of Silsbee Mabel Flowers of Beaumont Gertrude Dodson of Zavala and Bessie Neuman of Clute
Evadale Independent School District trustees will open bids from area banks to serve as depository for 1976 and 1977. The meeting is set for April 7 at 7 p.m. at the Evadale School Administration office.
