Hardin County Court Debates Right of Way Appraisers Pay
Hardin county commissioners voted to pay Burke A. Hargrove 2000 for right of way appraisal on the Neches River bridge project after earlier contracts. O P Roden sought 1160 for 105 item job claiming they completed it in 1957, while commissioner Tom Burch pressed that payment depends on Carpenter Case forms. Court friction and calls for cooperation continued as forms were discussed and tax office staff needs were raised.
