Fusarium Wilt Kills Tomato Plants Overnight
Commercial vegetable producers and home gardeners face Fusarium Wilt killing tomato plants rapidly. The disease in soil causes sudden wilting with dark brown internal stem streaks and yellowing leaves, especially before fruit ripening in warm weather. Resistant varieties such as Homestead Marglobe Tropic or Floradel help, though not fully immune, while other issues like damping off aphids and red spider mites can mimic symptoms and are more controllable.
