I thank my church and other churches for flowers cards prayers gifts calls visits and money while I am ill. Special thanks to Rev. Mitchel for visits and guidance. Thanks to Rev. Gibson of The Church of Christ for visits and prayers and to Dr. Copeland for kindness. We pray God's blessings on you all.
The notice lists several newborns from June in Silsbee Lumberton and nearby towns. Parents include Langhinain Voigtman Gore Griffith Burk Barnes and spouses with hospital births at Women's and Children's St Elizabeth and Tyler County. Grandparents and a great grandmother are named.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Jones 71 of Woodville were held June 18 at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Elton Jones officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery Ty ler County. She died June 15 after an auto crash on FM 92 north of Spurger. Survivors include her husband Irvin Jones four sons two daughters and several siblings.
Funeral services for Darrell Edwards 55 of Warren were held at 2 30 p m June 12 at Pace Funeral Home with burial at Hooks Cemetery He died June 10 at St Elizabeth Hospital from a personal safety related gunshot wound Edwards a native of Saratoga poet and country music songwriter was a member of the Alaska Poetry Society Texas Poetry Society and the Country Music Association He retired from the U S Coastguard Survivors include his wife two sons two daughters a stepson two sisters and a brother Pallbearers were Danny Brown Bennie Barnes Don Jacobs Butch Cummings we Marcontell and David Lawson Rev R E Barclay
