Diboll Marine Finds Long-Range Russian Telescope
Marine Private First Class Lester R. Cook of Diboll Texas, serving with MM Company 4th Marine Regiment, discovered a Russian long range telescope two miles west of Khe Sanh Vietnam. He turned the item in for examination and noted other finds including an NVA bayonet and a wired ration can trap that was disarmed.
