City to Bargain Trimmed Rate Increase With HNG
Silsbee city executives asked City Manager Ronald Hickerson to discuss Houston Natural Gas Co. rate proposals this week. HNG sought a 7.50 percent return on a $989,142 fair value base. the council favors 6.5 percent on a $863,091 base, cutting potential gross revenue from about $86,664 to $51,243.
