Birthday Birthday Ann A Weekend Letter From Kashmircertainly

New Delhi Swice 28 from Kashmircertainly noted to leave for it was so delightful and the people were exceptionally nice. I had a wonderful birthday. We did an all day excursion by car and horseback into the mountains with green valleys and icy streams. We enjoyed a picnic lunch by an icy stream and rode to a glacier. I imagined you all would have enjoyed it a perfect spot for our lunch. The food tasted good as we were hungry though the chicken sandwiches were not far from yours, Madramia. Maria and Carmela from Burma and a friend joined us for tea and birthday cake. It said Happy Birthday Ann and it was a very happy day. I will try to mail this evening.
