Funeral services for Andy Ard 71 of Beaumont were held at 3 30 p m Sunday in the Carroll Wallace Chapel with Sam Miller officiating. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery. A native of Ebenezer Texas he was a retired Kirby Lumber Corp employee. Survivors include two sisters Idella Nash and Iola Ard both of Silsbee his mother Zell Ard of Silsbee and brother Leroy Ard of Silsbee.

Wilson the Bealls Department Store manager in Silsbee suffered a heart attack at his home Sunday and was rushed to St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. By Wednesday morning his condition was believed to be somewhat improved as he remained in intensive care.
