Buna Lions Club hears from state emergency service official
The Buna Lions Club met at Jim's Cafe with Joe Pearce a field consultant from the Local Emergency Services Improvement Commission of the State Health Department in Austin presenting the program. A National Foundation for the March of Dimes drive is planned this week with many Buna volunteers listed to assist. Visitors noted, and local weddings and community updates were shared, including the marriage of Lynda Robinson and Larry Sanford at First Baptist Church Buna with reception at the church hall and plans to reside in Beaumont.
