Funeral services will be at First Methodist Church with Rev J C Montgomery Jr and Rev J W Hofert in charge. interment in Garden of Memories with Masonic lodge in Sikes ton officiating. Born Colt Arkansas April 14 1894 he studied pharmacy then worked 18 years as district manager for Abbott Laboratories Newark. He later moved to Sikeston in 1936 to work in insurance until health declined last summer. He belonged to Methodist church Masonic lodge and Shrine. Never married. Survivors: his father a brother L J trans or Lute Rock and two sisters Mrs G Marshall Bore Delavan Wisconsin and Mrs Harold S Harris Little Rock.

Mayor Felker Hurt in Two Car Crash Near VFW Stadium
Mayor C. E. Felker sustained minor injuries after a two car collision on Highway 60 east of the VFW ballpark. Driver Mrs. Lian Smithers, Rt. 2 Charleston, was arrested on a charge of careless and reckless driving after her car spun and crossed into Felker’s path. Felker received first aid at Missouri Dell Community Hospital and was released. Police said both cars were traveling at moderate speeds and Felker had just finished a school stop and was entering the VFW Stadium turn.
