East Prairie woman Mary Coan of St Louis and Jessie of Comet Tom are named in a funeral notice. MERIDIAN Texas two Sikeston boys Larry Boston and Jere Hintehan will learn baseball from Major League exerts at the Big State Baseball Camp here this summer. Major league scouts are paying increasing attention to the Texas camp, which has former lifelong stars such as Monte Strattum and Joe Moore on the coaching staff. Several Big Staters have been signed to major league play and many boys have received college baseball scholarships.
