7000 Lumber Jacks Needed for the Ann

Albuquerque New Mexico September addition to ten battalions of lumberjacks and foresters raised with the Forest Service. Nine service battalions will be recruited in connection with the 20th Recr Engineers Forest. Recruits needed about 15002. All recruits will be trained as volunteers and non commissioned officers removed by commanding officers. Ten percent will be sawmill and logging operators. Twenty five percent will be technical foresters. Twenty five percent will be men with military training. Minimum age for commissioned officers is 18. Continued on page 2.
