Hachita dispatches report H B Faulkner an El Paso and Southwestern brakeman was shot in the back at the railroad yard last Wednesday evening as his train prepared to depart. He was moved to a train and taken toward El Paso. The shooter a drunken Mexican and a companion fled. Deputy Sheriff J McCart pursued them after a gunfight but the suspects escaped.
