Call for Democratic Territorial Convention in New Mexico
A 1908 notice from the Democratic Central Committee calls a delegate convention at Roswell on June 10 1908 to elect six delegates and six alternates for the National Democratic Convention in Denver. It urges primaries across counties Bernalillo Chaves Colfax Dona Ana Guadalupe Gila Rio Arriba Roosevelt Sandoval Sonora San Miguel Santa Fe Sierra Socorro Taos Torrance. The meeting also appoints a territorial committee session at Roswell on June 10 1908 to conduct party business and organize county representation.
