Notice of Sale in New Mexico Foreclosure Case
The American Trust and Savings Bank as trustee seeks sale of The Richmond Gold Mining Company of New Mexico property in Sierra County. By decree of March 10 1894 the mortgage lien and related trust deeds are foreclosed and the property including the Mary Richmond Mine and mining claim and related equipment are to be sold at public auction in Hillsboro New Mexico on June 30 1894. Proceeds to pay the debt plus costs with any surplus to be returned. other claimants are barred from the premises after the sale.

Ground broken for a new shaft 900 feet south. another shaft may start if a deal with Black Range Mining & Smelting is closed. The Black Range smelter is not yet in operation due to lacking ores, but ore is being hauled. Smelter men Frazier and Smith from Alligator? Hillsboro expert Preisser have been sent for along with flaxing materials.
