Gaddis has disposed of his Broadbank works business to Robert Worthen who continues at the old stand. Superintendent Pheby will start a Georgetown mill soon as a large ore stock has piled up for a major run to boost Grant county bullion. Joe Williams bought the will proof and contractors are pricing the job. Steele and I bought the Mar net will take charge while W O’Brien remains. Silver City stockyards move three blocks south to gain water and cut haul costs. Silver City Chapter No 2 KAM elected officers. Wallace N C Bascom, Burro mountains turquoise mine superintendent, received a Christmas breastpin and earrings from Gyula Armeny of New York, a jeweler involved with the mineral farming. Jake Raithel of Deming arrived at Elascy, received a block of lots from the pony and plans beef canning and an ice factory, with values doubling in a week. Silver City Lodge No 8 APL & A Mo officers installed: A HW Harllee W M, M H Twomay S W, W C Porterfield J W, HW Local Secretary JW Carter, Treasurer P B Lady J., John B Card.
