Tularosa National Bank was robbed last night of a large sum with cashier H C Holloway severely beaten. The thieves, believed to be two or more men, looted the vault as Sheriff James Hunter conducted an all day search, but left no clues. Holloway’s condition improved tonight.

Alamogordo New Mexico early this morning the Alamogordo Sanitarium was totally destroyed by a fire causing about 30000 in losses. Dr W C Roundtree of Mineral Wells Texas owned the property and insured losses were around 11000. Patients were removed safely with several narrow escapes. origin of the blaze remains unknown. The owner was at his Mineral Wells home.
