New Gambling Law Enacted for Territory of New Mexico

The act prohibits banking games of chance including faro monte roulette vingtuno and poker in New Mexico Territory. Violators face fines from 100 to 500 dollars and up to six months in county jail. District attorneys must report violations and grand juries may investigate within three years of offenses.
