Bond Issue for Shoshone Roads
Bonds executed Wednesday for an 80 000 issue by the Shoshone Highway Tax District will be available soon. Fred W. Gooding as president A J N treasurer and Harry W secretary signed the blanks to be delivered to Coy & Co of Chicago. The district, first in Lincoln County and in Idaho, bears the pioneering burden with 10 and 20 year bonds bearing interest. Expected that other districts will later place bonds at 5 to 6 percent though not possible on the first issue.

Shower of Kitchen Utensils for Popular Young Lady
A large kitchen shower occurred for a well known young woman at a new home owned by Charles Carter in the South Gooding tract. Fire destroyed the $2,000 house, forcing the Carter family to flee. Dorothy Crawford hosted the event, with many local women and Miss Alta Gooding attending in a crowded, festive setting.

The Idaho frunkation company earned many premiums at the Totse fair with Netted Gem potatoes scoring 98 and alfalfa 96. Waho Irrigation Co swept first on many crops including White Burbank and Netted Gems. Lincoln county exhibit won first sweepstakes at the Inter Mountain fair. Miss Matilda Montgomery is at Boise for the weekend.

Gooding Doctor Sued and Fined Four Thousand Dollars
A district court jury awarded $4,000 in damages to Elton Osborn, fifteen, in a malpractice case against Dr. J C Cary of Gooding. The boy suffered from osteomyelitis misdiagnosed as inflammation and blood poisoning. Evidence showed Cary had pleaded guilty to a local option violation and was serving a sentence when the case went to trial.

Shipments of Diseased Apples Seized in Caldwell District
