Ordinance on Sale of Intoxicating Liquors in Shoshone

Ordinance No 27 establishes licensing for intoxicating liquors in Shoshone Village. It makes sale without license unlawful and sets annual license at 300 dollars or 75 dollars per quarter with quarterly payments. It prohibits free giveaways and outlines penalties and enforcement by the Village Clerk. It was passed by the Board of Trustees and attested by Harry with the village seal.

Shoshone Falls Power company installs an electric plant to supply light for the Twin Falls tract and power for an electric line between Shoshone and Twin Falls. Upon completion the north side canal will be through, making Shoshone one of the best towns in the area.

Hailey Idaho auction seeks nurses mares and mules

Are Indians Exempt A Idaho Game Law Case At Lewiston

The district court in Lewiston will hear the appeal in the state versus Joseph Patterson. Patterson, an Indian, is charged with violating Idaho game laws. Academy Notes Show Busy Growth At Regional Academy

The academy reports rising enrollment with ten new names, totaling 140 percent of last year. A new dining hall and kitchen opened, with seating for about 100 and modern ventilation. Chemistry, physics, zoology, and physiography classes show strong student engagement as over 500 new library accessions arrive.
