Woodmen Spare Trees Said to School Trustees

Gold Found in Paying Ledges Near Wendell

An historic mine discovery near Wendell, Nor. reports rich quartz containing gold and silver. Aun, a local farmer, sent samples showing 40 to the ton in gold and 1250 in silver, sparking a regional boom as claims stretch over a two mile by one mile area near Thousand Springs. Idaho Hog Auction Aims for Record Los Angeles Shipment

John Thomas and HM M. Fiske of Gooding with E Mursters of Boise plan the largest Idaho hog shipment to Los Angeles. Fifty five cars will move 5500 hogs along the Oregon Short Line from Poestello to Weiser and north to Poestello, destined for Howser Packing and Pacific Meat & Produce. Finlayson Assaulted at Saloon Bout Ends with Arrest
