Bold Hold Up Foiled Near Depot by Two Men Named Doyle and Laptheen

A bold attempted robbery near the depot ended with Doyle and Laptheen captured by City Marshal Dunn. The victim, just off an eastbound passenger train, was approached and offered whiskey.
