Lincoln County Commissioners authorize C. C. Stockslager as counsel to protect county interests in an appeal over deputy salaries. The assessor may hire a deputy through June 1998 at 90.00 monthly. The county Poor Farm is leased to Orville Crathere from March 1, 1923 to March 1, 1924 for 2780 dollars. Several tax and fund transfers are approved, with adjustments to land valuations, delinquencies, and widow exemptions. A lengthy list of current expense claims is reviewed, with some disallowed. The board rescinds a prior deputy sheriff salary, authorizes a new deputy at 15.00 monthly, and adjourns to May 14, 1929.
