Crowds filled Shoshone’s first open air amusement park with a 7 30 opening by manager Clifford J. Dorsey. A band led the way to the illuminated grounds where a free moving picture show ran at 8 45 and a merry go round and dance followed with orchestra. The park aims to offer healthful outdoor entertainment and many more attractions are planned for Saturday.
The Dietrich Farmers Association met at the Dietrich hotel on Saturday June 41 with about fifteen to twenty members present due to irrigation duties. John A McPherson new instructor spoke on irrigation and farming topics, promising able speakers in the future including Don Bark on June 25. A committee was appointed to draft constitution and by-laws and organization is expected in a few weeks.
