Idaho irrigation case reviewed a Carey Act contract dispute over water delivery. The Supreme Court reversed a lower court ruling, holding that the contract language governs and requiring the irrigation company to deliver the specified water rights to landowners or face damages for breach. The decision hinges on interpretation of the water rights and the system’s allocation to List 9 lands and related contracts.
