Shirt starch disaster ruins wedding plans in Wesson

In Wesson Mississippi a man named John Farrell was hospitalized after his fiancée laundered his shirt with excessive starch. The shirt stuck to his skin, tearing away flesh when he removed it from his body. He leaped from a loft to escape the garment, was unconscious until found, and both he and the betrothed woman were said to be in danger.
