The issue reports on law actions in Plaine county involving the Carey Valley Reservoir and a county road dispute, with an injunction preventing reservoir-related flooding of a public highway.
Dave Ennis of Shoshone died at his sister's home on Tuesday night after decades of disability from a railway accident. He leaves a sister Mrs McKuen of Shoshone and a brother John of Pocatello. Reverend Father McGown of Jerome conducted the funeral, which drew many old timers and engineers.
