Doctor Emerson Arrested After Hiding in Gooding House
Shoshone residents learned on Sunday that Dr J W Emerson returned to the Gooding residence while the owners were in Portland. He was sought on a Cassia county warrant for assault with intent to do great bodily harm and was arrested after Mrs Emerson aided in hiding him briefly. He was bound over to district court with $35,000 bond. the case stems from a September shooting involving Mrs Emerson.
