Testimony details a shooting during a confrontation at Crist’s ranch on February 21 1903. Witnesses describe Jones seizing a gun from Wright and a fatal discharge as they grappled, with the muzzle aimed toward Wright and Jones denying intent. Dr. Emerson notes a qunstion wound entry and exit.
In a trial mentioning Harvey Goodman and others, the jury found the death an accident and the defendant was discharged. The same report notes a church play by Episcopal girls raising funds for a new organ, with praise for organizers Mrs. K. M. McCollum and Mrs. Dr. Emerson.
Naticett and the Twin Talts land and Water Company seek authority from the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners at Shoshone to construct maintain and operate a toll bridge over Shake River near the station in Section 25 Township 2 South Range 21 East Boise Meridian. The bridge would be twelve feet wide and three hundred feet long with thirteen feet of it built and the rest wood.
