Proceedings of the County Board Cancel and adjust tax certificates
The January 8 1912 session of the County Commissioners convened to cancel and adjust Tax Collector Certificates numbers 72 269 270 and 276 for 1910 after determining the properties belonged to Rupert Episcopal Church Jerome and First Baptist Church Jerome. Additional certificates including 26 95 30 63 and others were cancelled or amended with warrants ordered for corrections and refunds. The board also considered road and bridge matters and approved various warrants and expenditures, adjourned to January 9 then continued to February 3 for further investigation of bridge and road projects.

Minstrel Show Draws Big Crowd in Shoshone
The Study Club ladies hosted a minstrel show that attracted a large audience in Shoshone on Tuesday night. Performers included a mixed program with a notable quartette and a short farce, drawing cheers and guffaws as funds were raised to reduce a lecture-course deficit, with about 150 dollars net after expenses.

Knights of Pythias Demonstration in Lincoln County
In February 1914 Delos Lodge No. 28 Knights of Pythias celebrated the orders 49th anniversary and the lodges 11th anniversary with about one hundred in attendance. A humorous initiation of Brother Ed Smith of Goofing entertained guests as a local arrest occurred over missed church services. FW Keeler of Keeler Bros Financial Agents visited Lincoln County to advise trustees on bond issues for several school districts to attract eastern bonding company buyers.
