The 1903 Idaho estray law amendments repeal and modify sections on sale procedures, charges, notices, and branding. They set notice timelines, padding charges, owner claims within ninety days, and allow sheriff sales if title is unsettled. A new section imposes penalties for fraud and misappropriation of estray property.
Robert Hayes of Pocatello closed talks for Shoshone Electric Light and Power Company in town. Local stockholders include F R Gooding and J W Waldron, forming a partly local board to speed wiring. The State Irrigation association organized with by laws to promote irrigation, publish information, and cooperate with state and federal agencies with offices in Nampa and Pocatello.
A delegation of eighteen from Delos Lodge No 28 visited Glenns Ferry at the invitation of Margaret Lodge No 20. They initiated eleven candidates in all ranks by five o'clock Wednesday morning after a midnight banquet prepared by local women. The visitors praised Glenns Ferry as delightful hosts and returned to Shoshone on No. 2 Wednesday morning.
