County Board canvasses 1904 election returns in Shoshone area
The Shoshone board met November 16 1904 to canvass results from the November 8 election. Officials such as Orlando Emmons and J W Wheeler approved claims for numerous names and sums and ordered warrants drawn. Road work and public highway designations were recorded, along with a public highway establishment in Lincoln County and a center section road in T8 R18 E. The Pocatello Advance reports on Minidoka irrigation project cost and terms for settlers, including land price estimates and seven years of free water maintenance.
