The Heart of Timpanogos In The American Folk Canyon
A 1915 discovery near American Fork Canyon led to the Timpsons Cave becoming a public site. Miners, forest rangers, and Alpine Club members opened a guided tour with lights and trails. Since designation as a National Monument, thousands visit annually from Salt Lake City, with information available at the U.S. Forest Service.
