The M. E. church in Shoshone was dedicated last Sunday with a stirring sermon by Dy. T. Diff of Kanenx City. Contributions reached 407.10 to clear debts. excess funds will fund further improvements. A church history will be published later. Minutes report Lincoln county postmasters meeting forming a county league with Orlando Emmons as temporary chair and P. Colman Burroughs as secretary. Officers elected include Orlando Emmons as chairman and Watson Shirling as vice-president. The group approved by-laws and adjourned to Jan 9, 1908. Twenty-Four-Hour Man Antonio Cuey of Padretta, Portugal, has been missing for three months. no doctors or opiates help. He works daytime as a mule driver and nights as a watchman.
