James McMillan of Kimberly Townsite Co reports survey complete and sagebrush cleared. Formal town opening on August 8 features a lottery for lots priced 100 to 750 dollars, all with irrigation water via Twin Falls canal. Kimberly sits at Twin Falls tract center near Shoshone Falls and Twin Falls City. railroad service exists. Open return fare offered for the August 7 celebration, with return through August 10.

On Monday evening August 14 Dr Diff will lecture on The Boy's of 61 65 noting Sherman's march to the sea and his own army service at age 15 across 52 engagements with Civil War recollections.

Deceased, born January 16, 1829 in Ohio, had a long western path including Oregon California Idaho mail work and mining camps.
