Mrs. Jane Hammer died Monday morning September 18 after a four month illness. Funeral services were held at the North church by Rev. Mounsey and Rev. Cunningham of Alexandria, with interment in Pendleton Cemetery. She leaves three sisters. Mr Russell Underwood of Cyclone joined his wife at her mother Mrs Edwin Kirkpatrick’s home. They returned home Tuesday. Miss Ruby Nealis accompanied them, and Mr and Mrs Kirkpatrick went to Indianapolis.
