Postal Savings Act amendment enlarges deposits and removes monthly limit
President Wilson has signed a broad Postal Savings Act amendment expanding the maximum account to 3000 dollars and removing the former 100 dollar monthly deposit cap. The change greatly pleases depositors already near the 500 dollar prior limit and enhances the system now standing with over eighty million dollars on eighty percent of its half a million depositors. Postmaster General Burleson and Third Assistant Dockery pressed for the modification to meet public demand.

She was wife of William Johnson and survived by son John Foster of Wisconsin and daughters Mary Macy of New Castle Emma Craig and Clemmin Lockridge of Kennard. Funeral at Friends church Wednesday at 2 led by Rev Thomas Baker of Marion. Interment Greensboro. She was step mother of Charles Johnson of Shirley.
